BKI Combi-King Error Codes

E01 – Chamber Probe

  • Code Description – Compartment probe error.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block, automatic restore.
  • Solution – Have the compartment probe replaced by an authorized service technician.

E17 – Core Probe

  • Code Description – Error with the core probe.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Manual restore is recommended.
  • Solution – Have the core probe by an authorized service technician.

E05 – Motor Safety

  • Code Description – Motor alarm engages.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block, automatic reset.
  • Solution – Contact an authorized service technician if problem persists.

E03 – Inv

E07 – PWM

  • Code Description – PWM board error (communication timeout or problems on fan speed).
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block.
  • Solution – Contact an authorized service technician to resolve.

E08 – PWM 2

  • Code Description – PWM second board error (communication timeout or problems on fan speed).
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block.
  • Solution – Contact an authorized service technician to resolve.

E14 & E15 – Hi Temp

  • Code Description – Control compartment temperature too high.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking is blocked, automatic restore.
  • Solution – Check the oven’s perimeter ventilation (a.k.a. louvers) and the correct functioning of the cooling fans of the components. Clean the filters by following the recommended procedure in the operation manual.

E09 – Com PWM

  • Code Description – PWM second board error.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block.
  • Solution – Turn off and turn back on again. If problem persists, contact an authorized service technician.

E10 – Com PWM2

  • Code Description – PWM2 board communication error.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block.
  • Solution – Turn off and turn back on again. If problem persists, contact an authorized service technician.

E16 – Communication

  • Code Description – Main board communication error.

E22 – Power Fail

E19 – Probe 4

  • Code Description – Humidity control probe 4 alarm engages.

  • Solution – Have humidity probe 4 replaced by an authorized service technician.

  • Code Description – Humidity control probe 5 alarm engages.

E12 – Ignition Reset

  • Code Description – Gas ignition is not detected.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking cycle block, manual reset.
  • Solution – Press the manual restore button. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service technician.

E13 – Ignition Reset 2

  • Code Description – Gas ignition is not detected on burner 2.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking cycle block, manual reset.
  • Solution – Press the manual restore button. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service technician.

E04 – Air Flow

  • Code Description – Air flow rate alarm engages for gas burner.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking cycle block, manual reset.
  • Solution – Check to see if there is anything obstructing the combustion fumes exhaust chimney. Contact an authorized service technician to resolve.

E18 – Air Flow 2

  • Code Description – Air flow rate alarm engages for the second gas burner.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking cycle block, manual reset.
  • Solution – Check to see if there is anything obstructing the combustion fumes discharge chimney, or contact an authorized service technician.

E21 – No Water

  • Code Description – There’s no water to generate steam.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking cycle block, automatic reset.
  • Solution – Check the connection to the water pipeline and make sure that the shut-off valve is open.

E24 – No Water Litre-Meter

  • Code Description – Litre-meter, washing alarm.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Washing block, manual restore.
  • Solution – Press the manual restore button. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service technician.

E23 – Boiler Drain Not Completed

  • Code Description – Water from boiler did not drain properly.
  • What’s the Cause for the Code? – Cooking block .
  • Solution – Turn off and turn the power back on. Make sure the boiler discharge valve is in proper operating condition, and check the boiler.
