- Damaged bun trays – If the bun tray looks warped, either straighten or replace the bun trays.
- Improperly cut buns – The buns can get smashed if they’re cut incorrectly. Make sure you buy the correct buns or have your bakery cut them correctly.
Platen Loose
If the platen is loose or wobbly, this means the bolts holding the platen in place are loose. Tighten the bolts.
Platen Won’t Heat
- No power – Check that the power cord is plugged into the wall outlet.
- Broken power switch – Have the power switch replaced by an authorized technician.
- Shorted power board – Contact an authorized technician to replace the power board.
- Shorted or burned out platen – The platen will need to be checked and/or replaced by an authorized technician.
Bun Done Light Won’t Come on (Speaker Sounds)
