AEG Dryer Error Code Solutions

E60Heating problem – this can be caused by insufficient ventilation in the room.
E20/C2/2 Beeps/2 FlashesIndicates a water drainage, pump or software problem.
ERRAttempt at changing cycle or settings after the cycle has started OR chosen an option that cannot be used with selected cycle.
C0/COThis is normal, no problem with appliance.
C6Problem with the moisture sensor.
C8Problem with the temperature sensor.
CDProblem with the door’s latch.
CE/CFProblem with the electronics.
E40Check that the door is closed correctly.
E80Problem with the cycle selector or the software.
EHO/EH0Problem with the power supply.

Intervention of motor overheating safety cut-out.

Machine Status/Action Power to the heater unit and reversal of the direction of rotation are interrupted. If the problem does not re-occur, the alarm is memorized and the cycle continues. If the fault persists after several attempts to supply power (about 35 min.), alarm E51 is generated.

Motor in-operational.

Intervention of auto-reset thermostat on the heater unit.

Machine Status/Action Disconnects the power supply to the heater unit. If the problem does not re-occur, the alarm is memorized and the cycle continues. If, after several attempts to restore power, the fault persists, alarm E62 is generated.
